  Edo 2020: Pandemonium  As Aggrieved Fans Throw Chairs, Tables To Stop Boxing Bouts By Niyi Busari The 52kg weight category bout between Ogun athlete and Team Lagos was stopped abruptly when fans perceived officials favouring Shittu Afolabi who represented Lagos over Kasali Abayomi from Team Ogun, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The free-for-all-fight began when the referee announced Shittu Afolabi as the gold Medallist. The fans who watched the fight claimed that the decision was wrong. Reacting to the officials' perceived bias announcement, the aggrieved fans came down from the stand and started throwing chairs and table into the ring which halted the progress of the other finals slated for today. The officials ran for their lives as they were no where to be found. After two hours of continuous pandemonium, other weight category boxing finals slated for today resumed.
